Supernova Moisture and Shine Cream

I wasn’t very impressed when using on damp hair, but it truly makes hair shinier and softer when applied dry. No greasy feel, but I noticed I had tiny flecks of golden shimmer on my hands after working the cream into my hair. I checked the cream, and it indeed has shimmer in it. Take that into consideration before buying.

Doesn't help red hair dye

My hair is died red and fades quickly. I washed my hair as normal the first time I got it dyed red. The second time, I used this product every time I washed it. Honestly, I think the red dye faded at about the same rate without or with this product. Sadly, I don't think there was much of a difference. It may have helped the fade slow a tad bit, but overall not enough to justify spending money on this.

It’s just ok, better products out there for less $

First off, I received this hair cream in a set that I purchased that had a bunch of Amika trial size products. While it has a nice scent, I find that for what the full size product retails for, it isn’t worth it. It didn’t do very much for my naturally curly and fine hair. I’ve tried better leave in cream conditioners for half the price of this one. Out of all the Amika products I’ve tried so far, this is my second least favourite one, with the hair gloss being my least favourite. I’m happy I received it as part of the kit I purchased, because I wouldn’t have been more upset had I purchased the full size at regular price, but for the price I paid for a kit with a bunch of Amika trial size products, I didn’t mind trying it out. Since it didn’t work out for my hair type, I most likely won’t be purchasing the full size, however, if I buy another set and it comes in the kit as a trial size, I would use it again.

This stuff is a freakin godsend, but only when used on dry hair (for me). It definitely works in damp hair and makes my hair look better, but it’s taken to the next level when I hold out on it until my hair dries. I warm it up in my hands, and hit my hair starting with the ends and moving up to the ear, being sure not to use too much. It’s goof proof and doesn’t weigh the hair down. The shine it adds to my hair is INCREDIBLE. It truly smooths and shines like no other, and is 100% weightless in my fine/dry/damaged hair. The smell also is stronger and lasts more when you apply it on dry hair, it tends to fade when I apply it on wet hair

Works well on my frizzy hair

Worked well on my frizzy hair. I only used a smaller amount because I was afraid it would be too greasy, and I only wash my hair twice a week to prevent my purple hair color from fading fast. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't look gross the next morning (if I put too much hair product in, it does, especially after I visit the salon). Four stars for price point.

Adds a beautiful high shine/glossy look... a little goes a long ways and the smell is my absolute favorite!! ❤❤

Good Everyday Smoothing Cream

I've only used this on dry hair after styling, but it does a great job of taming flyaways. My hair is coarse and can look frizzy after using straight iron, but this gives it a more smooth feel. It does not fight humidity, and as with any cream, if I apply too much in one area, it can look greasy.

Not what I hoped.

I am a huge fan of the Wizard priming spray and had high hopes for this product as I wanted a cream formula that had a similar effect. Unfortunately this product is just too heavy. Using as a leave-in conditioner made my hair a bit softer as it air-dried but it’s easy to apply too much and make your hair look greasy (even when I made sure to apply to the ends). As a primer before styling it makes my hair look sleeker but doesn’t soften much. It might work for some people but I’ve certainly used better products for the same purpose and less money.

If you've tried amika products, you're aware that the fragrance is STRONG. That doesn't change with this one. I really wanted to like it, but it makes my hair greasy and the perfume-y smell gives me a headache. It's an alright product. I'm not crazy about it.

Best Hair Cream

I absolutely love this product. I have curly/wavy hair and this makes it look great whether I let it air dry, use a diffuser, or straighten it. My hair is noticeably shinier when I use this. People will actually comment on it. I think it enhances my curls nicely for something that isn’t really a curl product. When I use it in combination with a Denman brush, my hair looks so pretty and healthy. I would highly recommend it!

great product, not so great ingredients

makes my hair feel amazing ! but does contain silicones. i usually look out for silicones and assumed this product would be, considering the hair mask that goes along with it is, but it’s not.

I just tried this product and I was a little sceptical at first, as it I couldn’t feel it softening my damp hair while I put it in. However, after I let it air dry my hair is sooo soft to the touch and it brought out my natural waves! Definitely will be buying again! The only downside is it doesn’t have a delicious scent, but I can deal.
