My go-to for menopausal red cheeks

I took a chance on this emulsion and I’m so glad I did. Usually I buy mini or get samples but I figured I needed to give this some time and use for a while to see results on my cheeks, but actually it helped from the very first application. It instantly soothed my cheeks and didn’t leave it greasy or dry. It has a lovely scent. I’ve been keeping it in my handbag and use it as and when I feel I need it.

It’s not green

Disappointed as product not same as before and not green which is the whole point of this product. Opened today and completely upset and fed up not same. When red skin you need calming and green takes red away

Great For Redness and Flaking Dry/Sensitive Skin

Calm-Essentiel Soothing Emulsion is one of my favourite Clarins products and I have been using it for about a year now, in conjunction with the Calm-Essential oil. I use it on and under my chin where I have experienced dryness leading to redness and flaking, and it has really helped. I use the cream first, and then apply a dab of oil on top. In one of the Clarins UK videos on YouTube they say to do it the other way around (oil first) so I tried that but found it pills, so I would not recommend that order. Some reviews here have mentioned issues getting the product out of the tube - I store the tube standing upright in the box with the lid top up, and squeeze gently whilst pressing the pump. I've never had a problem. I love this cream, will continue to buy it, and hope they don't ever discontinue or change it.
