It didn’t really work and it had a sticky texture and made my eyes stick together for a bit when blinking

Works a little

I am always looking for something to wake my skin up a bit. I always wake up feeling a little puffy, regardless of what I did the night before or how much I slept. I don’t think this is a miracle product but I do think it helped my face feel a bit tighter and more refreshed in the morning.

I just started to using this product and It feel that works fast. I recommend it 100% it works

brightens my eyes...appreciate the price. does not leave as much film as other more expensive brands

Made under eyes darker!

Honestly i was very optimistic about this product considering a close friend told me how well it worked for her. Unfortunately for me it makes my undereyes black! I put it on at night and in the morning i look like i have very dark under eyes. Its scary because i stopped using it just to make sure and i started using it again and its happening again so i will definitely discontinue. For reference i dont wear mascara or eye liner and use concealer maybe 3X a week tops.

I've been using the EGCG Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG for a few weeks now, and it has truly transformed the appearance of my under-eye area. I love how lightweight the formula is—it absorbs quickly without leaving any residue, making it perfect for layering under makeup. After consistent use, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in puffiness and dark circles, which is a huge win for me. The caffeine really helps to depuff in the mornings, and the EGCG feels soothing. Plus, it’s affordable and lasts a long time! Definitely a must-have in any skincare routine.

This caffeine solution was definitely new for me to try. I loved this solution because it gave my skin the boost it needed and brought back life and bounciness to my skin. Definitely worth the try and I would purchase again.

I’m currently loving this Ordinary Sampling Caffeine Solution. It’s easy to apply and feels very light and comfortable under my eyes. It also helped reduce my dark bags from under my eyes as well. I highly suggest it. It works magic !

Dark puffy eye improvement!

A big step up for me and my dark, puffy eyes from the AHA formulation for eyes from The Ordinary. I can already see improvement in only a couple of weeks.

Didn't work for genetic dark circles

I really wanted to like this! For full disclosure, I have NEVER had success with ANY product that has been marketed for improving dark circles; however, this product has excellent reviews and is relatively inexpensive, so it was worth a try. I don't know if there are necessarily different "kinds" of dark circles, but I have had dark circles since I was very young, and I have had a dermatologist describe them as "hereditary." Unfortunately, I think that I might be in the group of people that would only be able to improve the appearance of my dark circles if I did tear trough fillers. Additionally, the skin under my eyes is very thin. Veins are visible under my eyes and around my eyelids. I didn't have the experience that some other reviewers are describing where they saw an instant result as a result of the caffeine. My dark circles look the same in the morning as they do throughout the day and at night, so maybe I am just not in the demographic of people that would benefit from the caffeine in this. This product truly didn't make my dark circles better or worse. I did give this product a couple stars because it was kind of moisturizing. However, I took off stars because (1) it didn't improve my dark circles and (2) the stickiness that other reviewers have already described was annoying. I did wait to review this product until I had used the full bottle in both the AM and PM, which is what the label says to do. The stickiness was particularly annoying in the AM because I felt like I had to wait for the serum to "dry" before beginning my makeup routine in the morning. Obviously, this was less of an obstacle in the evening. Still, the stickiness was not great. TL;DR: If your dark circles are genetic/caused by thin skin around the eyes, this might not be for you.
