a little disappointing
I ended up returning this product, I love the idea of it but it has a terrible chemical smell and it left my roots looking really oily. I have naturally oily hair so it’s possible that it just didn’t work for my hair type. My scalp wasn’t irritated or dry at all when I was using it but I couldn’t get passed the smell and the way it made my hair look

Nope for me!
This product needs revisiting the formula for daily use. It's okay if I apply and sleep with it to wash off the other day, but if I have to wear this and style - no! It's sticky and hardens the roots. For this price and the function, other products do better. Try Furterer scalp tonic! I prefer a supplement product to refresh my scalp like a light tonic and not sit there on my scalp for a supplement.

Too Expensive to Keep Buying
You'd have to nonstop buy this stuff in order to see improvement, and I can't justify regularly spending this much.

olive oil = food for yeast that cause dandruff
Olive oil is actually food to dandruff causing yeast. If you put this on your scalp to help with flakes it will only get worse. I got this information from my dermatologist.

DONT BUY
Absolutely horrible. No matter how much I part my hair or strategically place it on my scalp.. this serum dries and crusts within an hour. It is WAY too thick, do not buy this at all. The smell is ok but honestly for healing a scalp a brand shouldn't put fragrance, an irritant, in a hair serum. I tried it over and over again. The other reviews must have had another formula because this is not it. I even tried it with wet hair even though it suggests dry hair... still terrible so many crusts in my hair and then it falls out throughout. My scalp has flakes but not like this. this is significant small white dried products and its everywhere. takes forever to wash out as well. The Better Not Younger serum is much better

New Science Hair Products that WORK!
Makes my scalp feel...nourished. Have been using for about one week and notice less hair in the drain (I know it doesn't state that as a benefit but it is what it is). Has a gel like consistency so I emulsify on fingertips then rub on scalp. Smells great, l recommend this new science line of hair products.

Flaky scalp? BUY THIS!
I went into the store looking for some sort of scalp treatment for flaky dry patches that showed up over night. This killed it! It feels so soothing when putting on, the smell is amazing, and I wake up with a hydrated scalp that is less flaky and my hair is SO shiny! The texture is like a rich serum so it does not run everywhere and down into my face/eyes. I don’t use it every day and only use it on my problem areas on my scalp which is mostly along my hair line on my forehead.

Very strange consistency, almost gel-like which I’m finding difficult to spread. I expected a liquid. You need to use much more than suggested to cover your scalp. Not sure about the reviewer that stated her hair is growing faster and healthier after only 2 applications. I want this to be a good product, but based on consistency I feel like I’m going to plough through this bottle in a week. If that’s the case, the price tag is too high and I’ll consider this maybe an every 3-6 months treatment.

Received in the mail earlier this afternoon and I’m using it before bed as the directions state. Fast-absorbing. Smells good. I’m not sure how soon I should see results. However I never had a problem with hair growth, it was retention that I need the most help with.

SCALP TOPICAL HAIR SUPPLEMENT
SAVED MY SCALP
TLDR: too greasy for daily use, incredible results when used as a topical medication for inflammation/hair loss/itching/burning. I had a serious inflammatory stress response to ..life? During 2020 and it resulted in my scalp feeling like it had ants on fire crawling all over it every night and every time I got stressed. It burned and it itched and was falling out in clumps but there was NOTHING medically wrong. There was nothing my doctor could do to help. I went and saw my stylist for a bang trim and I mentioned this issue. She let me take home a bottle of this because when it was applied it felt like aloe on a sunburn. It was immediate relief. Every night when my scalp would start to hurt I would just apply this and gently rub and let it soak in. I have thick hair but I used a lot and yes, it made it look a little greasy, and because of this I really only use it when I notice my scalp start to burn. Since using this on an as needed basis for this issue my hair has stopped falling out, and my scalp has stopped burning and itching. When I apply it and I’m not having inflammation it just feels like a regular product, it’s only with the inflammation that it feels like aloe. It’s just incredible, I’ll never bother with the medicated foams and shampoos for this problem again. Also, my stylist gave this to me out of sympathy back in 2020 and I still have some left in the bottle. A little goes a LONG way.
