Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 30 Skincare Foundation

It looks so beautiful but the smell is truly awful. It smells rotten and sour.

Nope. Wanted to love it, but it just isn't good.

Oh man. Sigh. I REALLY wanted to love this skin tint. I researched a ton, and I love ILIA's other products. I did notice a scent - it smells like chemicals or just like... almost as if the oil has turned. It has not - but it does smell a bit. I decided to overlook the scent and try to make it work. I tried to use it for a few weeks. Ultimately, I was unhappy that it was watery and that even though I tried to thoroughly and gently blend, you could see the brush strokes. It doesn't really sink into the skin, it awkwardly lays there and looks weird. It does get better with powder etc, but I don't like to use much powder as I'm a bit older. It just isn't that girl. I got the Trish McEvoy foundation and that is incredible - still a watery and gentle texture but it actually covers. I recommend that in place of this even though it's so pricey. This one is a miss!

The best!

I love, love, love this serum! It goes on so smoothly and always looks natural. I also appreciate the sun protection. I use it instead of foundation. Sometimes I’ll use the complexion stick as a concealer if I want to look really spiffy but the serum is perfect for daily use.

TERRIBLE SMELL. Dry skin shows!

The scent is awful. I don’t know how they call this fragrance free. Also, if your skin is the tiny bit dry, it makes it looks flaky, not moisturized.

Greasy

It’s just too greasy, cannot wear it. Not even a single setting powder can save this. And the smell is awful. It’s been on my counter for more than a year. I spent so much money on this, was so thrilled about it, but it turned out to be very disappointing.

wanted to love

I was so excited to try this, but unfortunately it didn’t work for me. It always felt slippery and sunk into my pores, and broke me out ): wanted to love though

Love but the packaging gets messy

I surprisingly loved this foundation despite the weird scent. It took some getting used to bc it felt like almost oily likely bc of the squalane. But it turns out beautiful. Wish it was more affordable and Just had issues with the dropper and it exploding

Why does this smell like…

I love how this product works and looks but why does it smell like belly button? It has a really off putting smell. Love the dewy look, feel, and functional makeup. Sometimes makes my forehead a little too shiny.

this has a horrible sent. went on terrible. did not blend well. returned immediately

If you are over 40 this will make you look glowing

Every time I use this people asking about my skin. The trick is only one drop on each cheek and the excess rub it on the forehead.

The smell…like dog (seriously). Returning. I would skip this one. 

Horrible scent

Had a nice dewy coverage but the scent was unbearable. The product itself also gets very messy and unable to clean off.
