Description
L’Heure Bleue is part of Guerlain’s Legendary fragrance collection. A collection made of emblematic fragrances, composed for more than a century by 5 generations of Perfumers. These mythical pioneer perfumes compose a unique olfactive library, that the Maison Guerlain endeavors to preserve.
L’Heure Bleue diffuses its atmosphere at the very moment when the sun disappears beneath the horizon and the sky is painted with night’s velvet. L'Heure Bleue Eau de Toilette is an emblematic perfumed creation of the Maison Guerlain. The Guerlain's perfumer celebrates through this fragrance, in the most sensual and "skin" way, the moment when "the night has not found its star yet". An anthem representing the softness of life and romantism.
The sun has set, but night has not yet fallen. It’s the suspended hour… The hour when one finally finds oneself in renewed harmony with the world and the light," Jacques Guerlain liked to say. He was referring to his favourite moment, when "the night has not yet found its star". It was this fleeting sensation that he tried to express in 1912 with L'Heure Bleue.
Designed by Raymond Guerlain, its iconic “inverted heart” bottle is underscored with graceful scrolls typical of Art Nouveau. Its avant-garde stopper, in the form of a hollowed heart, evokes the delicate romanticism of this perfumery masterpiece and represented a real technical feat at the time.

My perfume for over 60 years!
You ask me to review something which has been my life-long companion as if I had just discovered it! L’Heure Bleu by Guerlain is one of the great classic perfumes created at the beginning of the last century by one of the greatest perfumers. Unlike most perfumes created much more recently, it is completely unique! Guerlain created several great unique classics, Shalimar, Vol de Nuit (which my mother always used), Mitsouko, Liu, Habit Rouge, Vetiver, and several more. These perfumes all create an atmosphere and I recommend anyone not knowing the great perfumes of Guerlain to try them out and see not only which you like but which seems to represent your personality, which you feel at home with. A perfume is very personal, like a lipstick or hair colour or piece of clothing, it has to suit you and not only be a perfume you like. It has to be a scent that when smelt by anyone else whom you know, elsewhere, it will remind them of you! I am told L’Heure Bleu was Queen Elizabeth II’s perfume! It might be yours but try it and see!

Simply The Best.
I first came across this scent at thirteen, when my Mother wore it. It seemed so beautiful, but switching between scents she settled on Shalimar and I on Mitsouko. Fifty years later(!), my mother asked me which scent I wanted for my birthday and from nowhere came the answer; L'Heure Bleu. It must have been waiting somewhere in my neurological nose and I am so glad it did. Nothing is as sophisticated, as powdery, beautiful and as I myself discovered, memorable, as this legendary classic. Please never, ever discontinue this act of miraculously creative perfumery. I love it with all of my heart. I really do.

Such a beautiful and dreamy scent
I recently purchased this in EDP and Extract and I have to say it is the most dreamy, sensual and beautiful scent I’ve owned. I don’t ever want to be without it! I’ve used it everyday since and received a ton of compliments and questions about what perfume I’m using. Guerlain please don’t stop making this most iconic, gorgeous perfume.

L’heure bleue always
I have been wearing l’heure bleue for over 40 years since my teens. Sadly it has changed somewhat in natural ingredients not as powerful even though I still love it. But wish it had remained the sale as many years ago. Pity ,

don’t waste your coin
Literally does nothing. Don’t waste your money! Just buy the Dior concealer instead, which works actual miracles. This prod is a scam.

L'Heure Bleue Eau de Parfum
My Life’s Companion and the late Queen’s favourite
I have been using L’Heure Bleue since I was 16 and I am now 80! It has accompanied me through all the greatest moments in my life. In the early days, and certainly through the seventies you could also use the matching bath oil, bath salts, body lotion and talc, so your special occasions wearing the scent could be preceded or followed by the total experience. There was also the wonderful soap which went with any of the great GUERLAIN perfumes called Fleur des Alpes which would scent your whole bathroom. GUERLAIN have made the greatest perfumes which fortunately still exist like Vol de Nuit, used by my mother, Shalimar, Mitsouko, Liu, Aprés L’Ondée, immediately identifiable and unique, like any great work of art. Why not give them back their accompanying soaps, oils, salts and lotions instead of creating all those more recent perfumes which smell just like so many others, run if the mill, very chemical almost like insecticides with a good dose of Patchouli? Your greatest assets dear GUERLAIN friends are those magical unique creations invented by your genius ancestor Jacques GUERLAIN! It can’t be helped that you never had anyone since with that great gift, that nose, but show and market those treasures as you used to by giving them the companions they deserve.
