Veil Mineral Primer

The formula itself is beautiful and makes my foundation look beautiful all day. The packaging of the standard size is so bad, however, that it's worthwhile reviewing on its own. I had to transfer all of the product out of the packaging into an empty eye cream pot, and that worked well for me. I now only buy the large size so that I get the tube packaging instead of the pump. This product just does not work in pump form because of its consistency. I know this packaging shape is Hourglass's "standard" look, but they really should reconsider because it's ruining a lot of people's impression of the product.

I have been using this for several years now. I love how my makeup just glides on top of it and stays on.

after only a few weeks of using (keeping the pump fully screwed on, not like I would take it off) it coagulated and stopped coming out of the pump. some gross very liquid-y stuff would come out about every third pump and there was a huge mass congealed in the bottle.

I have been using this primer for over 20 years and have never found it's equal. Sublimely silky.

Don't bother.

Doesn't matter how much I shake this product up, the first dab out is liquidy. Imagine that preketchup juice. Gross

This skin tint it’s amazing leave my skin so pretty with a beautiful and natural finish and gives some coverage perfect for every day my face looks so good and it las long time I trully recommend this if you like skin tints

A must have

Absolutely necessary to key all my make up in place while not being blotchy either.

This has been my staple primer for many years and I will continue to be an avid costumer for many more to come. This primer takes my foundation make-up to another level. It also has smoothing and clarifying properties. It also provides sunscreen protection.

my favorite primer ever

I was shocked at how much I liked this product. I do not usually use primers because they always pill. This one does not pill and makes my skin tint lay so beautifully. it also has SPF which is a plus. It can leave a slight white cast but this is not a bad thing if you are laying makeup on over it. I love how smooth is leaves your skin and it goes perfectly with my favorite foundation/skin tint the hourglass veil skin tint. Helps it lay more evenly on my skin, sometimes that skin tint has a weird finish where it is dry in some places and satin in others. but it never was that noticeable at all imo... but regardless this helps it look even better! big fan!

Best Primer For Dewy Applications

I’ve been using this primer for the past couple years and it’s definitely holy grail. The spf and light, velvety finish help my dewy foundation last all day.

Ride or die

48 yr old. On my 3rd bottle. Will buy the bigger tube from now on. My fav primer over the dozen I’ve tried. Love airbrushed look it gives my skin. Blurs pores, smoothes skin, keeps oil away all day. The best primer out there. day.

LOVE this primer, a ride or die for me since 2017. I far prefer the squeeze tube to the pump, which gets clogged and leaves a ton of product in the container. I use with a lancome foundation and Huda beauty concealer, plus the nars matte creamy concealer. My makeup stays all day with a setting spray. It minimizes my pores, fills in any unwanted divots, and keeps a smooth matte texture to apply makeup over. I let it dry down for the time it takes to fix my brows, and it works great!
