The shampoo did not clean my hair and the conditioner and hair mask made my hair dry and straw like I didn't even want to try the detailing primer spray

Love this sample set! Great way to try new products without going all in. I ended up purchasing the full-size products. Also, these were great for traveling with.

Disappointed

I just bought this product and the shampoo is more than half empty and the conditioner is almost half empty. This is absolutely unacceptable for the price!!! What a rip off!!!!!!!!

Not worth the purchase I was experiencing very dry hair & purchased a multitude of Amika products and I did not get the results I desired. Also very difficult to lather and a lot of product is required! If you try it out I hope it works on your hair type just wasn’t great for mine! It does have a very nice “salon” smell though!

Decent value

Great kit, mostly because it helped me know which products I could and couldn't live without. Surprisingly the detangler was the only product I've repurchased. Everything was meh, the shampoo, conditioner, and mask weren't any better than drugstore quality. Love the scent though

My hair is so shiny, and my dandruff is gone and my scalp is clean, also not to mention my hair smells so good thanks to this product! Great kit to start with if you’re on a budget trying to get healthy hair.

Allergic reaction

I love Amika products so I was excited to try this. However I seemed to have had an allergic reaction to the product.

Meh

I wanted to compare this shampoo and conditioner with K18 and I like K18 better. This one feels like a regular shampoo and nothing special to it eg. my hair feels as if I used Aveeno shampoo from the drugstore. The K18 makes my hair feel healthier wet + dry. The amika one also smells like chlorine to me not sure why.

This is considered a protein hair set! So OVERUSE WILL CAUSE YOUR HAIR TO SHED/ FALL OUT BECAUSE IT HAVE PROTEIN IN IT!! You must moisturize your hair after using this! You can definitely feel the strength of the products even if you use them on their own besides the detangler. This is not something you would use weekly even if your hair is damaged!! I would say twice a month!! I have bleached hair and I use this after heat styling or protective styling! Or after I have bleached my hair!! My hair is shoulder length and I have used the kit 3x and still have a lot left! A little goes a long way especially with the shampoo! I can do without the shampoo since I don't care for shampoos if you had to get anything from this line I would say get the hair spray and the treatment mask! The only thing I wish is that it had more slip since my hair is 4A hair type! But I do own the soul food mask (pinky orange packaging) and the overnight mask (dark blue packaging) I use those treatments interchangeably weekly and this set in between or like I mentioned above! I'm giving it four stars due to the slip it has but again it's a protein treatment!! So of course it won't be much slip but even the normal conditioner it comes with is not slippery enough for my liking!!
