Contrasted with the candle's freshness, the result is an elegant, crisp scent, conjuring the memory of a sunny afternoon spent in a garden. When creating this candle, perfumer Olivier Cresp was inspired by his memories of spending time in his childhood garden with his father, of taking in the plants’ scent, and years later doing the same with his own son, Sebastien.
From the Garden’s green and earthy notes remind Cresp of this transporting moment and being immersed in the tranquility of a sun-drenched garden. In 1994 Maison Margiela introduced ‘Replica’: garments and accessories collected from around the world that are replicated seasonally and infused into the main men’s and womenswear collections. The original garment needs no adjustment, only the chance to be given a fresh breath of life.
In 2012, the focus of ‘Replica’ stemmed from the timelessness of garments to that of scents. Each fragrance recreates moments and olfactive memories.

Fresh but leafy
There is a nice freshness to the scent but a bit too leafy smelling for my liking, which comes from the tomato leaf. There is a nice sweet undertone but unfortunately overpowered by the leafyness so not for me
