Does not work

I love the product but very unhappy with the packaging. This is the second wand that would not work. Product would not come out no matter how many clicks. I ended up using a needle nose pliers to remove the click. re-alined. worked but didn't. Just fix the packaging. A twist would be better: it doesn't need to be fancy.

Really great!

I work most of the day outside in every weather condtion but holds the eye shadows exactly where i placed them in the morning for a whole day!

if you own any of the motherboard pallets - you need this. you cannot use Pat’s eyeshadows without it. you will be robbing it off of its true colors and what it supposed to look like. it allows the pigment to shine brighter and makes colors more rich. also, it helps your eye shadows to last longer.

Ignore the nah

Read what it does. Use it gently. If you break crayolas, don’t buy this. The glitter sticks, no fall outs. And the perfect wet look on its own.

When I purchased this it was broken . I couldn’t even twist it up to try it .

A must have!

I adore this product as it is a game changer when it comes to applying any shimmery, glittery or metallic shades to the mobile lid. The way I use it every single day is by priming my eyes with the rare beauty eyeshadow primer which I then most often set with powder, then ONLY on the mobile lid where I want to apply any shimmery, metallic or glittery shades I also layer this Pat McGrath product on top, over which I then apply any shimmery shade I intend to and this makes these eyeshadows absolutely pop, literally, just like the name of the product suggests, it dramatically intensifies the eyeshadow colour you place on top, also avoiding any fall out and increasing dramatically longevity. I really really hope this will never ever get discontinued and I do believe any non positive reviews anyone might be writing about this product may purely come down to the fact they extremely likely are not using the product properly , the way it should be used. I therefore would advise the company to probably better and more specifically explain people how this product should be best used. If this product is used correctly it is absolutely a game changer in eyeshadow performance, no doubt!

This is NOT a primer, not sure why people think it is. It acts more as a sticky clear base for pressed and finely milled shimmers or glitter. I dont recommend using this on matte shadows unless it’s under the lower lashes. I use this religiously to help shimmer and glitter pop and stay in place, and to help my under eye lash line shadow stay in place. The tool is super easy to use, you just press the button on bottom and it comes out. Obsessed with this.

It’s a no for me

Still on my quest to find a great primer for eyeshadow. This didn’t do anything for me at all.

My daily go to for glittery shadows

I love this and use it daily. It makes my glitters more intense. I always love it, that it acts like a glitter glue. I mostly have no fall out. I take my make up brush and brush some on, than pick up the shadow. Sometimes I apply it directly with the wand. A must for me!

I've had this product for about a year and bought a second. I use this almost every single day and haven't opened the second pen yet. You don't need a ton of it...the smallest amount. Never had an issue with packaging BUT be sure to not click too much out. I've never experienced the packaging problems people have mentioned. Also I've got oily eyelids and its been a game changer. I will say this is designed to be used like a glitter glue...so you don't really need it for mattes. I put my mattes down first and then put this where I'm applying shimmers or glittery shades. Def worth a try.

Skip It. Not worth it.

1. The packaging is NOT user friendly. It breaks easily. 2. There is not a lot of product inside (found this out because when the component broke, the product stick fell out.) 3. It did make my make up look nice, but the price point is ridiculous for what you get and how difficult it is to use.

Great product but a lot of packaging

This product does exactly what it says it does. It really does allow me to get very intense, long lasting, high shine effects from Pat's special shades and other duo and multichrome eyeshadows. I find it easy to apply and I have no issues with the applicator, other than it being an awful lot of black plastic packaging destined for the landfill, compared to the amount of product.
