Great Scrub!

I love the way this body scrub feels, and it smells amazing of course. It's not super watery like some of the scrubs out there, so you don't need a ton for good coverage and I feel like I tend to use more than I should. . . but I love it!

This works great to get rid of rough patches of skin on the back of my arms and skin. Use it with the body oil and body cream to completely eliminate the problem. Amazing!

Suspend your disbelief

Here is my honest review: I did not expect this product to work as well as it really does. My opinion of Sol de Janeiro before I owned any Sol de Janeiro was that it had to be overpriced junk that just smelled really good: I assumed it was carried by strong marketing and branding in favor of ingredients not scientifically proven to do much for you. Suspend your disbelief and actually try the product. Use it as directed: 2-3 times a week, scrub gently until it's all the way melted down into your skin. My opinion of Sol de Janeiro prior to owning any was flat out wrong. This stuff does what it says it will do, and it did not irritate my skin. I have lost a lot of weight in the past, so loose skin is a concern for me--this scrub noticeably improved the appearance of my loose skin. It also improved discoloration and made my skin feel smooth and hydrated. It did not make my skin oily when used properly. Actually, I think it clarified my skin somewhat in areas that my skin would often break out when using heavy moisturizers. If you have no genuine need for skin tightening and just want something abrasive and fragrant to exfoliate yourself with, yeah, go ahead, buy Tree Hut scrubs. This stuff is expensive. If you don't need it, don't buy it. But it DOES do what it says it will do. Some cons: if you use this scrub in the bathtub and not the shower, really make sure you fully dry yourself after you're out. Also, it is quite oily and you do not want the walls of your bathtub to get greasy. Probably don't use this in the bath. I have yet to decide if the product fully justifies its price tag, but for now I think it does.

I usually don't use scrubs, but once I ordered it became my favorite. And smells absolutely amazing. The signature smell combined with signature mist is the ultimate combo

Hydrating scrub

I like that this scrub is thick so that it doesn’t just slide off of my skin and down the drain as soon as I put it on. It’s very hydrating, and it leaves just the slightest bit of moisture after rinsing so that I don’t need to use any moisturizer afterwards I get out of the shower. I use the scrub once a week, and it keeps my skin nice and soft.

It is good. It was a little dryer than others I have used so I felt like it didn’t go as far. I did like that it was a little courser than others. Overall I will order it again.
