Not as good as the other dryer from Dyson

I bought this prior to Christmas I already have a Dyson hairdryer but thought I would upgrade. I have found this hairdryer is much heavier and incredibly noisy the nozzle that is used to blow dry and large bulky and is not as good as my other. I will give it some more time but possibly will return it

Huge disappointment

I have curly hair, which makes them very demanding. I was looking for new hair dryer which could help me to make my curls look even better. And that’s where the huge disappointment starts. The hairdryer is blowing with extreme hot air, even on the low settings. The hair are dry quick but the curls looks much worst, hair seems to be more dry and dull to feel, and curls doesn’t last for next day. With my old dryer I had good curls at least 3 days. The dryer itself looks stylish, although the diffuser which was my priority is not very good designed for curls like mine. The hair also lost their volume and but freezing is the same, so I get back to my 10 years old hairdryer and I am going to send Dyson home, unfortunately. For this money I was expecting magic and it didn’t happen.

On m'a offert le supersonic nural pour cadeau de Noël. C'est maintenant la 4e fois que je m'en sers. J'ai le cheveux très long, tendance à ondulation et aux frisottis. Je ne peux pas témoigner de sa robustesse dans le temps, en revanche, tous les embouts sont efficaces pour chacune de leur utilisation. Après m'être lavé les cheveux, 25 minutes plus tard, j'ai le cheveux sec, brillant et plutôt volumineux. J'apprécie beaucoup l'explication de chaque embout grâce à l'application. J'espère vraiment qu'un embout boucleur compatible verra le jour. C'est la seule chose qui manque à ce petit bijou ❤️.

I feel like I’ve had a professional blow dry every time I use it. I’ve never had so many compliments about my hair. I love it.

Great, but the slippery handle let’s it down a bit

I received this as a Christmas present. I’ve used it a few times so far. It arrived well packaged. I only use the scalp protector nozzle, directional nozzle and the flyaway attachment. Haven’t used the diffuser yet, but I might use it in the future. The comb attachment is useless for my hair type and think it is only for afro type hair. The hair dryer itself is nice and compact. Only thing I don’t like about it is the handle. It’s slightly too big for my hands and is slippy. I would prefer a slightly thinner handle and some sort of non slip grip on it. I like the memory feature so you don’t have to change settings between nozzles. I use the scalp nozzle to rough dry my hair first on high heat and full power. This takes about 5 mins, less if I let it air dry a while first. Then I move on to the directional nozzle to blow dry it straight with a round brush, on med heat and med power. This takes about another 5 mins. I then use my straightens on it. After that I go over it with the flyaway nozzle which gets rid of all the flyaways nearer my scalp. It leaves my hair looking sleek and shiny. I have noticed my hair feels a lot softer since using this hairdryer. I don’t know if that’s because it’s smoother now. The weight isn’t too bad, but would be better if the handle didn’t slip. I’ve knocked a star off for the handle, otherwise I would give it 5*. I got the case free with it, which is quite large. Could possibly be made smaller. Also got the clips free which are a nice addiction and much better than the cheaper butterfly clips which can pull and snag your hair.

The hairdryer was a Christmas present from my husband. We stayed at a hotel recently who had Dyson hairdryers in all their rooms and I used ours for the first time. My hair is fine and it suited my style(!) and remained good for a couple of days. Hence My Christmas gift!

C est Mon cadeau de Noël j en suis raide dingue ! J ai envie de me laver les cheveux tous les jours !! J aurai bien aimé qu un accessoire boucleur soit adaptable mais je ne crois pas que ce soit possible ! Tant pis !
