I got 3 x 5mls samples of the Kiehl's Hydro-Plumping Re-Texturizing Serum Concentrate from a new acquaintance (now ex Kiehl's rep). The first thing I noticed was yes it is concentrated. A tiny amount like a grain of rice goes a long way. The serum has a lot of 'slip' a silky slippery texture that glycerine and silicone create (used in a lot of primers for this reason). It crestes an occlusive barrieron the skin sealing in moisture. So this serum does what it says. It has a soft scent and was totally kind to my very sensitive skin. As there are few ingredients it would suit most skin even the most sensitive (unless you're allergic to one of the main ingredients of course). I really enjoy using this serum but the price precludes ongoing use. A shame as the feeling it gives is quite addictive.

A game-changer!

I got this product as a sample in my most recent Kiehl's order, and I did not expect to like a sample product more than one of the full sized products I bought. My skin absolutely LOVED this product - it soaked it right in, and remained moisturised and plump for at least the next 12 hours. It seems like I have been missing out on glycerin as a key ingredient in my skincare regime. I'm saving up to buy the full version of this, as it is quite expensive.

I got a delux sample of this before Christmas and I immediately fell in LOVE with this, so much so thats I went out and bought a full size. I use a little bit under my eyes and it 100% has made a HUGE noticeable difference in the fine lines and dehydration I have around my eyes. I seriously use less concealer and powder now. Also the rest of my face looks and feels so supple, plump and soft. I do not have enough words to describe just how much I love this product!

I would love to have a full sized product

Super hydrating, my skin feels soft and moisturised. I would love to have a full sized product but I was happy with the sample size I got. The serum concentrate is white and has a chemical sort of smell. It felt cold going onto my skin. I was able to use the serum concentrate during the drying winter month.

My winter skin saviour

Wow! This is the product I never knew I needed. I received a sample right around the time I was experiencing some major dryness due to another skincare product I’d been using. None of the usual lotions and potions worked so I gave this one a try and overnight my skin was SO much better! The redness was gone and almost every flake from the patch of dryness had disappeared. I squeezed out every last bit from the packet and am eagerly awaiting delivery of my full sized product. If you tend to get dry skin during winter or have been prone to dryness from certain skincare ingredients, it would be worthwhile to get yourself a sample of this to try! It’s not flashy or fancy, but it works.

Hello Hydration

I was given a sample of this and I really like it. It's a water based gel and applies on easily. The only thing is I feel it's very much like their oil free gel cream in texture and ingredients so it just feels like an overpriced version of the gel cream, even though they mark it as a serum.

Glycerin and silicon-based polymer emulsion

I thought this was a face primer at first. As the serum just coats the skin in slip like runny emulsion. Feels like a thin makeup primer upon application at first. But does not fill the stuff well. It only gives slippy feel to the skin . Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Propanediol, Dimethicone/PEG-10/15 Crosspolymer, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Sodium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Butylene Glycol, Chlorphenesin, Sodium Citrate, p-Anisic Acid, Disodium EDTA, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Sodium Hydroxide, Adenosine, Perilla Ocymoides Extract/Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract, Citric Acid. I got the 2 week tube sample to try. My skin texture went from hydrated, plump and a bit oily to dehydrated and dull. Upon application serum is slippy, gliding like primers. Then it sets and my skin looks dull. Offered no benefits at all to my skin, so will not get the serum. Super overpriced for what the formula is: Glycerin and silicon-based polymer emulsion.

Lovely first step in my morning moisturising routine!

I use this as a first step in my morning moisturising routine (after toner obviously.) I find it lightly moisturising, plumping and provides a perfect base to apply my eye cream and face cream as it feels like it helps the others absorb. The one downside is the price tag. I think it's a bit much and do use it sparingly as a result. Although, finding a product that actually does what it says is such a rarity maybe this is worth it??

Great product but pricey

I was given this product by my sister who tried it and said it helped her skin look less sunken. I've been using it for over a month and found it makes my skin look more plump looking and hydrated. The texture is not heavy or sticky at all and so easy to use with the pump. Each pump was just the right amount for me. No strong or over-powering fragrance which I like too. I will continue to use / buy it even though it is a little pricey for 75ml.

It is expensive but worth it

It is still on going for me, but so far it was been 6 weeks. So for that price it does a long way. My skin feels smoother after application in the morning, I was recommended once a day with another serum, and so far it is complementing my daily regimen. My skin has improved and I like how it is not as dry despite the crazy weather

Plumped and brightened skin, look no further!

I have been using this product for 2 months now. Initially I didn't see much of a difference with this product, and I favoured other serums over this one. I use it intermittently (2-3 times a week) on rotation with other serums that target different issues. As of last month, I really started seeing results, my skin has started responding to it really well. It creates a great plumping "elastic" texture to the skin and brightens (which has been one of my biggest concerns) This product is now on high rotation! I used it 4 times a week, either at night or in the morning depending on how my skin is looking/feeling
