Overpriced Cheap Plastic

For the price the case shouldn’t be cheap plastic, but…it is. The clasp broke even though I keep it inside my cosmetics bag. The balm itself isn’t terrible, but it definitely doesn’t warrant the hefty price tag especially considering how little product there actually is inside. The balm gets all over the compact making it unsightly and I would imagine unclean. I’ll admit to being lured by the brand, but in the end this was a waste of money. I would definitely not consider this product again and it has me questioning the entire line of Gucci cosmetics. If this is such a fail, what other products are disappointing as well?

Save your money not worth the price the compact is cheap plastic that cracks easily and the lip balm sucks not hydrating at all idk what these other reviews are raving about but this is truly a trash product

Cheap packaging for a lux brand

Even though the balm itself isn’t anything special, I could justify the price if the packaging was higher quality and could be refilled. Instead, it’s cheap plastic. Gucci should be better than this.

Listen, you don't need this. I initially bought this for the packaging, I know, I'm a fool. lol. I digress; If you really want to, it is such a beautiful balm. I have it next to my nightstand, and it's great for dry patches, lips, and cuticles. It is soothing and more on the dryer side of a balm, which my husband loves because it doesn't have any shine. The packaging is gorgeous, with the option to depot it from the bottom, I only wish they actually sold refills because I would love to be able to replace the pan when I'm finished with the balm.

Meh- take it or leave it- it’s nice having a compact mirror in my purse- I wasn’t overly excited about it but it’s an ok product. I probably won’t chase this again.

I love this balm! I do have to say that I work at Sephora, but the Gucci rep instructed me to mix this bomb with the Gucci primer and then rub onto my face. It’s so creamy and silky. I highly suggest mixing it with the primer because its chefs kiss!

It’s pricey but so worth it! I love the compact and the balm is super hydrating, even in the winter

Feels so luxurious

Gucci Baume Nourrissant Universel looks and feels so luxurious. The Gucci logo green color with the gold design and lettering is like a vintage compact made modern. It’s heavy to hold and feels expensive. The balm itself is firm and hard, like a very solid lip balm, not at all like vaseline or aquaphor. I love to use it on my lips, but it’s not moisturizing enough to use for slugging. Nevertheless, its glamorous aesthetic and luxurious feel make it a standout in my beauty collection.

Pretty compact, but not sturdy; good balm

It's pretty, but I expected the compact to be sturdy enough to refill and enjoy for years. It is light plastic and seems quite fragile. I don't think it could withstand being carried in a makeup bag or purse. The actual balm is thick, matte and tenacious, which is what I like for winter. That said, you can find comparable balms for a fraction of the price. You might be better off finding a vintage compact to clean up and fill with a balm you already have and enjoy.
